nhs sales meeting secrets.

Everybody sales-wise flew into the greater Santa Cruz region for the annual nhs summer sales meeting. When your meeting about skateboarding, shit gets real.

Rocky Mountain High super rep, Charles “Chainsaw” Masque looking all godfather-esque in the Mark Widdman designed, Independent Chair. If you squinted, you might mistake it for the electric chair at San Quentin.

Salba introducing Salba Cruz. Shapes of all sizes inspired by Salba, killer graphics, limited runs from Kelly Belmar – look for Salba Cruz shortly at a shop near you. I saw t-shirts in the warehouse ready to ship friday.

Salba’s board.

Navarrette, Partenan, Creature Lee and David Gravette announcing Creature Fall 2011. Radicalness coming your way.

Gravette’s Hippie Skull Part Deux.

Always a good time with the creature crue.

Arto Saari and Sid Melvin talking about iced coffee and Bakersfield.

Great meeting. You’re not going to believe the tricks we’ve got up our sleeves. Rest of the year is going to be rainbows and unicorns for sure and leprachauns and four leaf clovers and pots of gold. World, lookout.

sunday video sanctuary.

Welcome to week #2 of sunday video sanctuary. Does the wreck have a new weekly column on it’s sweat drenched hands? All signs point to yes. And while we’ll be digging thru the shit to bring you the goods, rest assured and sleep well in the fact that we’re here-video speaking wise, for you, bro. So crack open a keystone and revel in all the glory.

Kirchart rules. still can’t believe he “retired”. Kirchart – retired? I mean, really.

santa cruz/aerial7/pacific wave thursdays.

This is going to be good times. Excited to be apart of this fun beach clean-up/party at clouds. Pacific Wave, Aerial 7, and us – Santa Cruz. Let’s do this.

Freshly installed window wraps up over at On The Beach Surf Shop in Monterey. Stop bye and say hello to Kelly and Kyle. Such a rad shop. Stop by then head over to Carmel Beach like we did for a quick surf. Those dudes pay about $400-500 bucks to play around of gold right there at Pebble Beach when you can surf that crystal blue water right smack in front for free? Back to On the Beach: Can you name another shop that has a fish tank inside of it?

eric’s wedding cake topper.

Longtime skate pal, Eric Guizetti, tied the knot this past weekend in the NYC. Sent me a photo of the cake topper. Best one I’ve seen all year, and trust me, do I know cake toppers. Eric, his lovely bride, Shoko, and the Emmanuel Guzman Web Dot Santa Cruz board on the cake topper? Hell yeah, homey. I would expect nothing less from the ’93 northwest mini ramp champ (a title I bequeathed to Eric year’s ago). Congrats, dude.

new santa cruz wood.

New decks from Santa Cruz Skateboards. Fresh out the gates are (2) pro models from non-other than Bakersfield’s finest, Sid Melvin. After that it just gets nutty and tough to decide which boards to ride – Emmanuel Guzman’s 8.25 Savage? Sid Logo 8.2? Jessee Coqueria 8.4? Get on board and get some. Radical maneuvers await.

pro ojs.

New OJ’s out today, friends. 53mm 99a durometer Chet “Luda Crooks” Childress. Beautiful graphic done by Chet himself. Looks great, feels great, will ride smooth and flow like you g0t full suspension underneath ya. Next up, Jason “The Kid” Adams is a 55mm 99a durometer wheel also. A tad bigger than the Chet wheel – this wheel is a tranny killer;  proceed with caution. Epic hick graphic too. Is that Hank Williams, Sr.? Rad. The big boy, a 58mm Neil Blender Wheel (also in 99a durometer) is classic Blender stylings. Shred all three. And no, Al doesn’t ride for OJ. But he rides for Creature, so that’s practically the same thing. Anyhoot, shred on brothers and sisters.

Guess what else is getting screened?

Salba Tiger reissues available next week in white and blue colorways.
